Draftsman (return to top)
Prepares routine drafting projects. Follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings. Consults with architectural designer regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards.
Skill Requirements:
- Read and interpreter 3D drawings and sketches
- 2 years of AutoCAD
- 1 year or more in the architectural mill-work industry
- MS Office
- CNC programming experience
Finisher (return to top)
Applies finish to products using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of different finishing materials and processes to complete projects.
Skill Requirements:
- 2 years or more in the architectural mill-work industry
- Extensive experience with custom color matching, toning, glazing, gloss and matt finished, Urethanes, top coats and specialized finishes.
- Equally adept in booth hand and machine finishing processes.
- Requires very little supervision
Cabinetmaker (return to top)
Sets-up and operates a variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden benches and cabinets. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Skill Requirements:
- Fluent in reading and accurately interpreting architectural drawing and sketches
- 2 years or more in the architectural mill-work industry
- Equally adept in booth hand and machine processing
- Requires very little supervision
